That’s a saying that there is an age of learning any thing, but I say there should be passion, obsession , inspiration and courage to learn anything new in your life.
Being a mother we gone through many new stages and changes in our life that before we haven’t came through those happenings.
Here in this blog I will share one of my newest experience which I am going through it only for my kids.
Firstly mentioning why I am doing this?
My elder daughter is a school girl. Her father dropped her school and me and her grandfather, go in rickshaw to pick her up. Here I mention a rickshaw is an open transport it’s a public transport which is available locally. Ever season I use rickshaw to pick her and sometimes when her father is out of town I use public transport four-way, which is giving us a very expenseive budget.
So my hubby decided that to make our expenses in buddget you have to learn driving as a gas amount for my own car will be less as ccompare to public transport.
Another disadvantage of public transport is that it’s sometimes not available on time and if I have to pick some grocery from a route i can’t do it if yes then it seems to be more expensive
So, hence decided that a mom should also know how to drive.
Driving in my city where I live is a big challengeπŸ˜“πŸ˜“ because of heavy traffic flowing on road , bikes rickshaws , cars and buses.
Anyhow no other option is available.
This struggle started a year ago when my husband had a manual car. Joined driving school , also practiced with my husband but all go in waste because my husband want to buy an automatic car for me as he observed that I can’t handle manual car πŸ˜ΆπŸ™„πŸ˜πŸ˜Œ so the car was sell out..
After an year finally bought an ecomatic car , struggle started again. And still going on. In start I go in morning to drop my daughter to school and on a way back my husband handle me a car to drive 😌😌😏😏. This goes for a month then came again break for a month 😫😫😫😫
Hurdles hurdles hurdles 😫😫😫😫
Finally after a month as now vacations going on my mission is to be so practice that I be able to atleast pick up my daughter from school and hopefully I will.
On daily basis my father in law take me to drive on different routes and on weekends my husband take me on school route. My kids stayed with her grandparents mother. Leaving all my rest behid just learning driving only for my daughter.
And yes my in laws are supporting me lot. So wishing me luck as in only a week is left for re- opening for school. Hope I’ll be ready till then. πŸ˜πŸ˜€πŸ˜‰…

A house wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters. Jumped in bloggers world to share my lifestyle which i am going through. Writing words of my mind.

  1. Best wishes as you learn to drive! My son is 15 and getting ready to learn also, fortunately he got to practice on a riding mower and golf car- I think that will help him. And I could never get the hang of a stick either! Good luck!

  2. Good luck on learning how to drive! I’ve only driven in the U.S. but I’ve been abroad a few places where I would not want to have to drive on my own. So much chaos. I hope you do well.

  3. It seems like you have figured out a good driving plan that is working for your family for the time being. My teenage daughter is taking drivers education classes also so I understand how you feel.

  4. I honestly don’t believe that there is an age to learning anything. People have different situations and cannot do everything at the same time. Congratulations on your learning to drive. I hope everything goes well and you get your license πŸ™‚
