Hey mom’s, are you and your kids are ready for school, after long vacations.
1st August 2018 is the day when all schools re-opened after long vacations.
Here I discuss my preparation for school and how first day of school was gone.
Pre-preparation for school.
My elder daughter promoted to class junior. So new class so as new accessories. A week ago, I gone for her school shopping. Bought her new bag, water bottle ,lunch box and new shoes too. As she is in Mont.JUnior so she don’t have to wear uniform. She go to school in simple easy casual wear.
She was so excited by seeing her new accessories and can’t wait to use them.
First day of school
I woke up at 7:30a.m from bed, but I was awake since one hour before crumbling on my bed for one hour.
Went to the kitchen, make breakfast and snack box for her. Then return back to room at about 8:00a.m.
She don’t take heavy breakfast, so I only gave her one boiled egg and that’s enough for her.
After breakfast it’s time to get her dressed. So I dressed up her with pink top and blue pants and wearing pink pumps. ( Sorry I forgot to click her pic ) .
Her father dropped her school usually but as today was a first day and I also have to buy her course so I also had to go with her. She left for school happily.
As today was the first day ,there are also new admissions . I can hear them crying and feeling nostalgic, remembering my daughter’s first day of school β˜ΊπŸ™‚.
Any how she left for her class and I went to buy her course. Billing was done at account office but I have to collect course from her class. So in this way I also got an opportunity to see her behaviour in class too. She was happy and talking with her friends.
Then back to home. Got busy in routine work. Made breakfast for husband as he had to leave for office. And after that take some rest.
Her off timings are 12:15a.m. So I left home at 12:00. Driving my own car 😊😊. Excited but also nervous as I was going to picked her up from school for the first time on my own car driving by myself. ( Mentioned in my previous article that learning driving for my daughter especially to pick her from school ) .
Anyways finally reached her school, picked her up. She was also so happy to see me driving and to come back home in her own car rather then public transport.
Reached home safely. After that again busy in my house chores and so on.
The most excited part of today was my driving. I am so happy and praying that finally my hard work comes in use.

A house wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters. Jumped in bloggers world to share my lifestyle which i am going through. Writing words of my mind.

  1. We’re just getting ready for “back” to school (my eldest is away at university, and my middle child is just about to start school for the first time). Around here, they start near the beginning of September. i hope your daughter has a fun and educational school year, and that you get lots of practice driving her to and from school each day.

  2. This is a good guide on preparing for getting back to school. My kid is still a baby so I dont have an experience yet of bringing the kid to school, but when the time comes I know it will bring me so much joy to be able to bring them to school and prepare for everything as well. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Your back to school is early! It’s usually around late August here. However we never really stop school in my house since we’re homeschooling. We do start new books around now and the back to school sales are the best time to get more supplies. Congratulations on your new car and successful trip. πŸ™‚

  4. The first day of school can be filled with chaos and tears from separation anxiety. It’s hard for kids to detach from mom even if it’s just for the day. And as mommies, it is so hard to let go and watch them grow and become independent because we are so used to them being dependent on us and needing us. But, rest assured no matter how old or how big they will always need and love mom.

  5. My daughter hasn’t started school yet but I can’t wait to learn how to drive so I can drop her off and pick her up. Lol That’s what I really look forward too! So I know that excitement!

  6. Our kids are homeschooled so I don’t have these. But I remember the first time my son went to rehearsals for his first theater production, and had to leave him there because parents and guardians are not allowed inside. It was bittersweet but at the same time, it contributed to him growing into the young man that he is now. πŸ™‚
